| Comments | Viktor Markai is currently splitting his time between the city of Stockholm and the charming town of Tavira in Portugal. With extensive experience, he has had the privilege of apprenticing under two renowned guitar builders in Granada for significant periods. This journey has profoundly shaped his craft. For over a decade, he has run his own guitar-building workshop in Tavira, where he creates approximately six exquisite guitars each year. The majority of these instruments find their homes in Scandinavia, while some are cherished locally by music conservatories in Portugal. Each guitar is crafted in line with the traditional Granada style, with a commitment to precision and quality. He ensures that every instrument is built in a controlled environment, maintaining around 40% relative humidity to achieve optimal durability. His passion for guitar building is about more than just creating instruments; his hope is that his guitars encourage guitarists in their musical journeys.
